WALDORF, Md. — August 2026 — Professional boxing returns to Southern Maryland on Saturday, August 15, as Davis Boxing Promotions presents Waldorf Boxing Pro-Series II, an action-packed night featuring undefeated prospects, local talent and international fighters at the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf, Maryland.

The event marks the second installment of the Waldorf Boxing Pro-Series and continues Davis Boxing Promotions’ push to establish the DMV as a destination for competitive professional boxing.

The action is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Capital Clubhouse, 3033 Waldorf Market Place, Waldorf, MD 20603. The event has also received approval from the Maryland State Athletic Commission as part of its August schedule of sanctioned events. (Davis Boxing Promotions)

Smalls and Liberati Put Unbeaten Records on the Line

One of the most intriguing matchups of the night will see two undefeated super featherweights collide when Malik Smalls (4-0) meets Italy’s Fabio Liberati (7-0).

Smalls, 24, enters the contest standing 5-foot-9 and fighting from the southpaw stance. At 129.2 pounds, he will have a significant height advantage over the 23-year-old Liberati, who stands 5-foot-5 and weighed 130.8 pounds.

But what Liberati gives up in height, he brings in professional experience. With seven victories and no defeats, the Italian arrives in Waldorf with an opportunity to make a statement on American soil.

For both men, the equation is simple: two undefeated records enter the ring, but only one fighter can leave with his perfect record intact.

Fuller and Hicks Meet at Super Welterweight

The card will also feature Tremaine Fuller (5-1) against Elliot Hicks (2-2-1) in a super welterweight contest.

The 33-year-old Fuller stands 5-foot-11 and weighed 154.6 pounds, while the 30-year-old Hicks stands 5-foot-9 and weighed 154 pounds.

Adding another layer to the matchup, both men fight from the southpaw stance, setting up a tactical battle between two fighters accustomed to presenting opponents with the challenges that come with facing a left-hander.

Heavyweights Bring the Power

At the opposite end of the weight spectrum, heavyweights Demalik Miguel (1-0) and Dariel Sanchez (1-8) will give the Waldorf crowd a battle between two big men.

Miguel, just 22 years old, stands 6-foot-1 and weighed 253.4 pounds. Sanchez, 34, matches him at 6-foot-1 but tipped the scales at 275.2 pounds.

For Miguel, the bout represents another opportunity to build momentum early in his professional career. For the more experienced Sanchez, it offers a chance to derail an unbeaten prospect.

Russell Looks to Keep Perfect Record

Another undefeated fighter looking to protect his record will be Deontrey Russell (4-0), who faces Manuel Guerrero (0-2-1) in a super bantamweight contest.

Russell, 24, stands 5-foot-6 and weighed 121.7 pounds. Guerrero, 26, is also 5-foot-6 and weighed 120.7 pounds. Both fight from the orthodox stance, creating one of the more physically even matchups on the card.

Guerrero enters as the fighter searching for his first professional victory, while Russell will attempt to extend his unbeaten start.

Aryeetey Meets Paredes

International flavor will also be part of the evening when Mohammed Aryeetey (11-1-1) faces Johnny Paredes (2-0).

Aryeetey brings one of the deepest professional records on the card, with 13 professional bouts already behind him. The 24-year-old stands 5-foot-3 and fights orthodox.

Across the ring will be 25-year-old Paredes, a 5-foot-7 orthodox fighter who enters with an undefeated 2-0 professional record.

It presents another compelling theme running throughout Waldorf Pro-Series II: experience against an undefeated fighter determined to take the next step.

Young Talent Gets Its Opportunity

The event also provides a platform for fighters at the beginning of their professional journeys.

Nineteen-year-old Jisaya Singleton is set to make his professional debut against Rogelio Javier (0-4) in a super lightweight contest.

At 5-foot-11 and 140.6 pounds, Singleton will enter professional boxing with considerable size for the division. Javier, 31, brings four professional fights of experience and the kind of familiarity with the professional game that can test a debuting prospect.

For Singleton, August 15 represents something every professional fighter remembers — the night the amateur chapter closes and the professional journey officially begins.

Davis Boxing Promotions Continues DMV Push

Waldorf Boxing Pro-Series II follows Davis Boxing Promotions’ previous June 13 event at the same Capital Clubhouse venue and continues promoter Robert Eric Davis Sr.’s effort to build a consistent professional boxing presence in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region.

Davis Boxing Promotions describes itself as a DMV-based entertainment and promotions company focused on showcasing up-and-coming fighters from the region and around the country. KA Sports Boxing to Bring the Action to Viewers

For fans unable to experience the fights from inside the Capital Clubhouse, KA Sports Boxing will be on hand to produce and stream the event, bringing Waldorf Pro-Series II to boxing audiences beyond Southern Maryland.

The production adds another dimension to a card built around developing fighters — allowing prospects who may still be establishing their names locally to showcase themselves before a much wider audience.

With undefeated records at stake, young prospects attempting to take another step forward, international fighters entering the DMV boxing scene and hungry opponents looking for upsets, Waldorf Boxing Pro-Series II promises a night in which virtually every fighter has something significant to gain.

Davis Boxing Promotions’ Waldorf Boxing Pro-Series II takes place Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Capital Clubhouse, 3033 Waldorf Market Place, Waldorf, Maryland.

The first bell will mark more than the beginning of another fight card.

For several of the fighters stepping through the ropes in Waldorf, it could mark the beginning of the next chapter of their careers.
