Freezy Macbones secures 57-second knockout victory against Nigeria’s Animashaun – KA Sports Boxing

Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, made a stunning statement with his victory over Nigeria’s Jamiu Animashaun at the Resurrection Fight Night in Accra. What many expected to be a tactical light heavyweight match quickly turned into a display of Gyimah’s skill and strength. Just under a minute into the first round, Gyimah read Animashaun’s move perfectly. As the Nigerian fighter moved in with a cautious jab, Gyimah skillfully dodged and unleashed a powerful combination that landed hard on Animashaun’s ribs. The impact was immediate and severe, sending Animashaun crashing to the canvas in clear pain.

The referee began the count, but it quickly became obvious that Animashaun wouldn’t be getting back up. Despite his earlier confidence, the Nigerian fighter was unable to respond, leading to a quick and decisive end to the match. It was a first-round knockout for Gyimah, which sent the crowd at Laboma Beach into a frenzy, though some were left disappointed. Freezy is now setting his sights on a rematch with Worldwide in August.
